A failed attempt to sequestrate a luxury Midstream estate took an unexpected turn after the High Court in Pretoria found that a deputy sheriff falsely claimed to have visited the property when he had actually met the judgment debtor at a KFC. Acting Judge Mentz dismissed the application and ordered the matter to be referred to the South African Board for Sheriffs for investigation.
