In a world where women hold just 20% of influential roles, the urgency to amplify female leadership has never been greater.

The Queendom Network Podcast, launching on 30 April 2025, is dedicated to empowering women in leadership, helping them step into influential roles with confidence, authenticity, and impact. “We believe in impact, more than just a talk shop. Each episode will feature a guest who has triumphed to be leading in their respective sphere,” says host, tech industry veteran, author and entrepreneur Kgomotso Mamello Motshidi.

She describes the podcast as being more than just a platform; it’s a movement. With a mission to uplift and equip women, Queendom Network Podcast focuses on seven key spheres of influence: family, business and economics, religion, technology, health and sciences, government and politics, education and academia, and media, arts, and sports.

A purpose-driven platform for women in leadership

Motshidi, who has over two decades of experience with global companies like Microsoft and HPE, believes now is the time for women to take up space. "We need to impart knowledge to the next generation," she says. “This podcast will spotlight trailblazing women who have shattered barriers, not for applause, but to inspire.”

The Queendom Network Podcast is committed to empowering women in leadership through authentic, thought-provoking conversations featuring industry leaders who have overcome challenges, and male allies who champion female leadership.

Designed for ambitious, goal-driven women aged 23 to 50, the podcast delivers content tailored to different career phases, from early professional growth to leadership transitions.

"Women in their 20s and 30s focus on career establishment, while those in their 40s and 50s explore new leadership paths or entrepreneurship," Motshidi explains. "We craft conversations that speak to both ends of this spectrum.”

Through relatable yet transformative discussions, the Queendom Network Podcast encourages women to embrace leadership with audacity, authenticity, and purpose.

The woman behind the mic: Kgomotso Mamello Motshidi

Motshidi, a pioneer in the tech and business sectors, holds a BCom in Informatics and an MBA from MIB School of Management in Italy. She started her career as a systems developer before transitioning into business strategy, influenced by mentors like the late Jurgan Pillay and John Agar.

As founder and CEO of The Zora Group, she has led digital transformation initiatives, spoken on international platforms, and authored Cracking the Gentleman’s Code, a bold commentary on modern masculinity and leadership.

For Motshidi, success isn’t measured by downloads but by empowering women in leadership through transformational impact. "I believe in the power of one," she says. “If even one woman gains clarity, courage, or confidence through this platform, that ripple effect can create lasting change.”

The podcast will feature influential voices such as Nkuli Boikhutso, CEO of Nelson Mandela Children's Hospital, who shared insights on navigating unconscious bias in leadership. "These conversations equip women with the tools and mindset to thrive," Motshidi reflects.

With video content, global collaborations, and impact-driven partnerships on the horizon, the Queendom Network Podcast is poised to expand beyond audio storytelling.

Motshidi’s advice for women entering male-dominated industries? “Be authentic. Men are not the enemy; they are collaborators and co-builders. Your authenticity is your strength.”

Where to tune in

The Queendom Network Podcast will be available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, TBN, and the iHeart Podcast Network, with episodes promoted across YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. The first episode debuts on 30 April 2025, with new releases every Wednesday. "Like, share, follow, and subscribe to Queendom Network Podcast across social media channels," Motshidi concludes.
